I wish I had a picture of it, because it is just so cute...
Makayla has grown quite attached to her backpack.
Her Aunt Liz gave it to her and she has been taking to
to "school" each day since. First with her bottles inside,
and now with her cups it in.
Each day it comes home with her, holding her
cups, crib sheet, and daily report sheet.
She loves that little backpack.
There is a loop at the top
that you would use to hang it on a hook,
and that is what she carries it by.
I've tried to put the straps over her
arms to weart it on her back,
put she doesn't understand that yet,
and just grabs it by the fabric loop on top.
Each morning when we get out of the car
she sees her backpack and sticks her arm out.
I put the loop over her arm and she "wears" her
backpack into school like a bracelet.
Yesterday evening, when we got home,
I let her our of the carseat and she was walking
around in the parking garage as I was getting
the car unloaded. She saw her backpack
in the car and starting pointing to it.
So, I took it out and gave it to her...
She quickly slipped her arm through
the loop and start walking around in circles,
toting her pack.
I tried to help her, but she protested
and obviously wanted to do it herself.
So she walked from the car to the elevator,
and then from the elevator to our condo
door, dragging her cute little backpack behind her,
all by herself...so proud.
