heart day around the bend

Red hearts, x's and o's and chocolate covered cherries...
flowers and Valentine Cards with a sweetly penned love poem.
Yep, it's getting close to Heart Day!

It's time for those first little
toddler Valentine cards for
Makayla's daycare class.

Since we are living in limbo
right now, waiting to hear about a house we love,
everything crafty is packed and in storage,
so I'm turning to the experts and my faves...Tiny Prints.
I previously posted about how wonderful
they are with holiday cards, but they've
got a trick or two up their sleeves when

I'm taking part in the
Tiny Prints Valentine's Day Campaign,
so I've been window shopping all the great
Classroom V-Day Cards on their website.
I have to find the perfect one
for Makayla's "friends".
(That is what they call her classmates
at daycare...friends...I love that!)

Here are some of my favorites:

So cute, huh?
I can see any of these darling cards filling up
her toddler class party bags.

Little sparkle hearts and candy kisses here we come.
My little sugar plum girl will be armed and ready to
hand out her Valentine "friend" cards this year!

Thanks, Tiny Prints, for making
this so simple for me and super cute for her!

dress up

She was shopping all by herself.
Definitely had her mind set on a skit hat,
and then shoes were an afterthought.
I just sat in a chair, watched and took photos of the action.
She chose the hats and shoes on her own
and gave them a test drive around the store.
scoping out the merch and trying her first hat

the wild gazelle spots the cameraman in the distance

um, maybe the gray hat is a liiiiittle bit big

moving on to hat number two

hot pink ski hat and red patent flats...winning combo everytime

struttin' it, like woah!
so fierce the shoe couldn't handle it
