Makayla recently started letting me put
a hair bow in her hair. Mostly just a flat hair clip,
buts it's a start. I did the headbands when she was an infant,
but she soon learned to pull them out within 5 seconds of me
putting them on her. Short lived was her infant hair flair!
She may not like a bow, but
she loooooves to help,
and while helping
me put up her clean laundry the other day,
she noticed the cubbies in her closet that hold her shoes,
socks, hair accessories, and more.
She started pointing and saying HAIR BOW, HAIR BOW.
There were four headbands with hair bows attached
and she wanted them all. We decided to take them all
downstairs and play. I tied her hair up in a (barely there)
ponytail and put on one headband after another,
after another and more, more, more.
She always ended up with four bows on her head
and giggled away while we did a photoshoot on my phone.
