35 week baby bump
It is hard to believe my official
due date is 5 weeks away!
Brandon thinks she will be at least a week
late, so we will see...
I made a "to do before baby" list
last night, with most of the regular things, like
-pack hospital bag
-assemble crib
-install car seat
So, I need to work on those things between
now and then. And need to set up my maternity
leave from work. My plan is to work through the
end of May and start my leave on June 1st...
hoping to stay out 12 weeks after she arrives.
Lots to do with the little time left!
(hopefully included some rest)
We took our final baby class tonight,
an Infant CPR & Infant Care class.
It was pretty helpful...
learned about baby CPR and choking
how to bathe, swaddle and diaper a baby.
We got to practice on baby dolls,
so it will be interesting to see how
well we do when she is
wiggling and squirming.
The guy sitting next to us had a bit
of baby doll malfunction and the leg
popped off during diaper changing...ha!
I guess as long as we
stir clear of that we are doing good!
A wonderful surprise at the end of today
was my first sweet mother's day card
from Brandon and Makayla :)
