be my new place to
find future

recommended by the
blog above and my
sister-in-law,
who loves to read
(and puts my recently read list to shame).

Any good reads
you'd like to share with me?
I'd love to hear your
 recommendations!!!

color code above, depending on the type of book:
green = enjoyed book, recommend it or agree with it/found it helpful
yellow = so-so book, not the best, or don't necessarily agree/like something about it
red = don't recommend or don't agree with it/didn't find it helpful

  2. I have read several of Francine Rivers' books over the last year or so. I have read The Scarlett Thread, Her Mother's Hope, Leota's Garden, and I'm about to start Redeeming Love.

Most of the books I read are non-fiction. I'm currenlty reading "It's Your Time" by Joel Osteen and have really enjoyed it!

  5. Hey!! I tried to post earlier but somehow it didnt go thru! I noticed you didnt like the one book we actually loved! haha! The Baby Sleep Solution was the ticket to success in our house- just shows how every baby is sooo different!! Oh, and The Help is wonderful! I've had a hard time getting into other books after reading it because the characters come alive with excellent dialogue! Love catching up with you via the blog!

  6. CG,
That is funny and I know what you mean. I had so many people tell me what books "I had to" and "shouldn't read" so I just read them all and later started figuring out what worked for MMC's personality. Maybe now that she is getting older I should re-read a few. I mostly can't apply that one book b/c she will barely go three hours between feedings, let alone four. I am going to try and up the amount in her bottles some more and see if she will take them and go a little longer in between. We've kind of done a backslide with sleep this week...probably getting used to daycare still and having a cold. Ugh! I think it is all just trial and error/live and learn. Thanks for the comment and I can't wait to read The Help. Hope you and MR are great! Miss you!
